NEW DELHI/ AAJ KI DELHI/ YOGRAAJ SHARMA
The General Secretary of the All India Congress Committee, former
President of Haryana Congress, Incharge of Uttarakhand, former Union
Minister, member of the Congress Working Committee, and newly elected MP
from Sirsa Lok Sabha seat (Congress-India alliance) Kumari Selja said
that the government should stop playing the portal-portal game with the
public and reach their doorsteps to correct errors in Property ID and
Family Identification Certificates. If the mistake is the government's,
why should people run around offices? First, the government should
apologize to the public for its mistake, recover the paid amount from
the company committing fraud in Property ID, and file a case against it.
She said that when Congress forms the government in the state, the
first case will be filed against the company that conducted the
fraudulent survey of Property IDs.
In a statement released to the
media, Kumari Selja said that the Chief Minister has realized the
government's mistakes, which is why he is assuring people that a
'Solution Cell' has been set up in the Chief Secretary's office in
Chandigarh to address their problems, which will hold resolution camps
every working day. At the subdivision level, the concerned SDM will hold
similar camps. In these camps, officers from departments implementing
public welfare schemes such as police, revenue, municipal corporation or
municipal council, social welfare, etc., will be present. Errors in
Property ID and Family Identification Certificates will be addressed at
the district and subdivision levels. She said that when the government
itself acknowledges the errors in Property ID and Family Identification
Certificates and the problems caused by fraudulent surveys, it should
first take action against the company that conducted the fraudulent
survey, recover the paid amount, stop the remaining payments, and file a
case against the company.
Kumari Selja said that the Solution
Cell will not solve anything; people will once again have to stand in
lines to correct errors in Property ID and Family Identification
Certificates, running from one office to another. She said that the
government should stop playing the portal-portal game with the public
and reach their doorsteps to correct errors in Property ID and Family
Identification Certificates because it was not the public who asked for
these to be made; it was the government's own plan in which it
completely failed. The government should go to the people and solve
their problems. She said that when Congress forms the government in the
state, the portal-portal game will be stopped, and strict action will be
taken against the company that conducted the fraudulent survey of
Property IDs.
